My latest find on no animal testing products. Palmer's Face Soap

I am a content consumer with the latest additions to my cruelty free arsenal. This new face soap deserves a mention.  I have struggled to find a face wash that is kind to the purse strings, environment and animals.

My claim about the environment is simply because there is less packaging, I make no scientific claim about the product washing down the drain, I am unfortunately ignorant on that front.
However the idea that Palmer's Skin Success Eventone Medicated Complexion face soap comes in a recycled and recyclable  small box appeals to me far more than buying a plastic tub or tube and I'm more than willing to minimize my waste. It has a clear black and white statement on said box about being against animal testing which had me enamoured at first glance.

I have used an antibacterial face soap for approximately 3 years and have been very happy with the results, therefore needless to say I was hesitant to part with my face cleanser especially because I am prone to attractive boil size pimples.  I hadn't found an alternative on this free from animal testing endeavor that is, until now.  Palmer's Skin Success Eventone Medicated Complexion bar has won me over. I had to do a little research so commenced my googling on cruelty free face soaps and their alternatives. Eventually I settled on trying out Palmer's. I bought it on Amazon for approximately $2.70 a bar and so far the results have been great. I have been using it for one week now.  It cleanses away heavy mascara, foundation and the remnants of a long day to a squeaky clean with no sting or dry tightness finish, so far so good.  I have not had an acne break out which was a major concern for me. I transport it if needs be in my little old school style soap box.  Very retro. I did struggle to find it though which is why I resorted to Amazon.  I couldn't find it in the CVS, Whole Foods or Bed Bath and Beyond stores I tried.  Will I buy again, yes, would I recommend to a friend, absolutely.

Thursday Jan 28th: An update to the above post I can report that my skin is a touch on the dry side but I will continue to use the soap as most face washes make me feel a little dry.
