For most people money at some point in their lives is a concern and a stressor. None of us have wads of cash to throw away frivolously on the latest fads and trends. Starting over and using only cruelty free brands can seem like a daunting step into the unknown where your wallet will be emptied of it's contents quicker than you can say "who's a pretty boy then?" Whilst being frugal and not wanting to spend your money willy nilly is a commendable trait, being animal friendly and cruelty free surely must be more so. It will bring with it a feel good factor and an awakening of sorts. This uncomplicated endeavour to cruelty free 1,2,3, doesn't have to cost you arm and a leg.
When I am out of something or coming to the end of it, be it make up, shower gel, shampoo or cleaning detergent, I make sure I replace said product with an animal friendly cruelty free alternative. This takes a little bit of research and it can seem mind boggling but it doesn't need to be. The Leaping Bunny and PETA websites are great for information and there are tons of blogs out there. What I found to be a problem was, ok, I know this brand and product are cruelty free but I really don't want to waste my money on something that won't suit me or doesn't work as well as the normal brand I've been using for years. (Hence the reason behind most of the content on this blog).
What I did: I didn't throw out all the old products I have used for years
(ignorant to the plight of the animals). I waited until they needed to be replaced and one by one began doing so. This won't seem so harsh on your purse strings. You are doing it step by step and before you know it a lot of your go to products will be cruelty free. Reading reviews is a really good way to inform yourself on what works well.

The list (link below) is compiled from my research and the product reviews found throughout blog will hopefully provide some insight and make it easy for anyone considering going cruelty free.. go on do it…. it feels awesome..
