Grey, Gray Away- A rootless day

I'm getting to the root of the problem.... using....

  • Mineral Fusion Gray Root Concealer
Yes I know I'm way too young and attractive to have to deal with the scourge of grey hairs... But we all have our cross to bear. Personally I think they could have been a little catchier with the name and called it something like "Away with Grey". I should consider copyrighting that if it's not gone already or "TM" as Phil Dunphy says; Trademark for those not au fait Modern Family, (TV show).

Before Application
If you see this staring back at you from the store shelf and you're not in the mood to be "grey-cious" about aging, grab it and  "grey-rase".  Too much?  Ok, agreed, but this is definitely a little find of which I am both delighted and proud. It blends away the grey almost completely and I stumbled upon it by accident. It was fate.
It has been 5 weeks since I last dyed my hair and boy can you tell!
I'll paint the picture for you.
I've been offered the senior citizen seat on the bus and been called Ma'am instead of Ms.  I'm from Los Angeles, all of this is unacceptable. Well not really, none of that is true, there are no buses here. Alright, that's not true either, but it could be.  Oh and I'm Irish.

Anyway, there I am in Whole Foods browsing the aisles and this little magic wand is waving at me.  Zing!

$12.99 and with The Leaping Bunny stamp of approval, this is a little GEM!! Pictures show results.

After Application
It comes in 4 different colours; Light Brown, Medium Brown, Dark Brown and Black.
After washing out
I chose Dark Brown and followed the instructions. They are extremely easy. I simply painted my roots using the wand/brush, the greys disappeared and away I went. It washes out completely with shampoo.

The more I read up about this brand "Mineral Fusion, Minerals on a Mission" the more I like it.

My next hairventure will be to find a cruelty free affordable hair salon to have my hair done professionally and so the odyssey continues….
